This is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it. You do not have to be happy that everything is "just the way you want it"; you are reminding yourself that this is not your home. Everything you see is temporary so do not grow too attached to the way things are now, they will not stay this way long. Because the Lord's return can happen any minute, make sure that you are about His business. You will be glad you rejoiced when you see Him.

Jesus told His disciples what was going to happen to Him before His crucifixion. They heard His words but did not believe or understand how His death would occur or why. After His resurrection they saw Him but still could not believe that what they saw was "real." In today's activities believe God's promises to you from His word, or from a sermon you heard or a song that you know God was speaking to you through. Believe! Trust and do not let the circumstances around you keep you from believing that God knew where you would be today and prepared you to stand victorious in what might even look like a total loss.

Let it be said of you that "You believed and did not doubt the promises or prophecies that have been given to you to bring glory to your risen Savior!!!!!

It's already March 6th. Ask the Holy Spirit if all He has planned for you has been implemented in your daily life. Each new year brings hope and responsibility so it is important to check with Him to make sure He is pleased with our progress. God requires large sacrifices because He has plans for us to be blessed in a large way. We know this means more than money or possessions and if we will trust Him He will get them to us exactly when we will enjoy them best. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord!!!!!!

The Spirit of the Lord is calling us back to the things we first believed and experienced. This is a call to return to our first love. Stir up the gifts that were imparted to us through the laying on of hands of those who went before us. The wolrld needs to see what a godly walk and real joy looks like. Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of promises you received from Him and instructions He gave us that we have not lived up to. The best is ahead but we must be available to follow Him in His time and His way!

When it is hardest to trust the Lord is when it is the most special to Him! Everyone can say how much they trust God when things are going just like you want them to. If you are having a particular struggle and do not see how God can possibly work it out; that is the perfect time to speak to the storm and allow God's peace to calm the waves of fear and doubt. You will never be sorry for trusting in God. You may not get what you were believing for but at least you can say "Lord, I would rather be wrong and trust you than be right without you."

God's design for a family is that we all allow Him to be the head and all of us be who He made us to be. There would not be any fighting to change anyone else in what they are called to be. Trust that God is working in your family IF you are praying for your family. This does not mean praying that God change everyone else but you. Family is God's idea and He knows what He is doing. Follow the Lord and you will see IN TIME what you are believing for!

Pray that Pastors will have the courage to declare the truth to their congregations tomorrow in a way that is understandable and relevant. The Word of God is clear and though some want to "change it to make it say what they want it to" it never changes. Methods to proclain it change and we should do our best to make it appealing without compromising. The church should be the place where we feel the safest!!!!!
Last Thursday 12 pastors gathered for 3 hours to pray and seek God about 2010. Amazing that no one had an agenda except that we desired to enter the throne room and share in God's presence.

A special blessing for all of us was meeting an orphans children's choir and hearing them sing a few songs and praying with and for them. I honestly think they may have been the sweetest children I have ever been around (excluding my own kids for sure.) When we walked in the room where they were, they immediately reach out to hold our hands. A small little guy grabbed me and hugged me like we were special friends. Their faces glowed with love and we all fell in love with them. I promise I could have taken 6 or 7 of them home with me on the spot. "Seek God with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 These are My Life verses, my walk with God is sweeter when I live by them. Bro. Dale
Making sure I know how to keep using this account and just like following the Lord we need to stay in constant contact. God knows what tomorrow is going to bring so stay close to Him so when it occurs you can get Him to tell you what to do.
Wow, finally got back to this site. I have been so concerned about walking in God's wisdom in 2010. I want everyting I do to be God's best for me, my family and His work through me. Let's make sure that our prayer times are not "to do" list for our Santa Claus God. The truth is we can never plan our lives as good as our Heavenly Father can and wants to. Do you have a "scripture verse" that you think God has given you to walk in and grow in for this year? If not, ask Him to give you one or two and then watch as He leads you through the mountains and valleys with these verses! Have a great evening. Bro. Dale
